New Albany Walking Classic 2010

As the premier event of the New Albany Walking Club, the New Albany Walking Classic provides participants with the opportunity to walk for competition or recreation.

The Walk promotes individual, family and community health.

For the third year in a row, the Walking Classic will be having a Health Expo that will be held at the Jeanne B. McCoy Community Center for the Arts, Friday and Saturday prior to the race on Sunday. Participants should pick up their packets at the Expo as no race day pickup will be allowed.

The Classic consists of a 10K walk (6.2 miles).

The Walk will start and finish at Market Square in New Albany.

$45 NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION

Awards
Top five men and top five women overall finishers in each event.

Age group awards will be given to the top three men and top three women in the following age categories:
19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and above

Registration is expected to close early as entries are limited to the first 3,500 registrants. Early registration is strongly recommended.
